“In Mount Isa you are very limited. With the help of Skills Generation I was able to upskill my passion towards helping people. This also wouldn’t have happened without the support of the CUC Mount Isa Centre and their staff. “

Another graduate Richie O’Sullivan also completed Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention and found great value in accessing to study locally:

It is very important to have CUC in local towns as it helps people with learning new skills and gaining a good education which normally wouldn’t be easy in a rural town.”

“A key enabler in achieving this milestone was my access to the Country University Centre, which provided a supportive and flexible learning environment right here in the Mount Isa! Having a dedicated space to study, connect with other students and access academic resources made a significant difference in balancing full-time work, 3 children and study!”
